From classic to modern rock, Fifties to Motown, Jazz to Top-40 hits, HIPNOTiC is a high energy, 5 or 6-piece variety band that has performed hundreds of engagements throughout the Baltimore/Washington area. HIPNOTiC's musical variety is carefully chosen to please all ages and styles, making them the perfect choice for corporate events, festivals and weddings, at a reasonable price. HIPNOTiC also performs a limited number of club engagements each month so you can see them perform live. HIPNOTiC's goal is to make your event nothing less than spectacular. Whatever your entertainment needs, HIPNOTiC will provide the best in all-live variety music and non-stop energy! HIPNOTiC is a member of the Maryland Wedding Professionals Association (MWPA). HIPNOTiC does not use any pre-recorded music tracks, MIDI files or synthesized instruments. All of our music is performed 100% live by top musicians, providing the excitement and spontaneous energy level that only live music can provide. HIPNOTiC features some of the top musicians in the area. Most have performed as full-time musicians for many years--great female and male lead vocalists, a complete rhythm section, including guitar, bass, drums, and keyboards, and a scorching sax player. We can also perform in smaller ensembles, where space or budget is a concern.

SongList Although we have an extensive song list , we are more than happy to learn and perform specific songs for your wedding or event. We have played many, many songs over the years that are not reflected on our current song list. We ask that you provide at least 8 weeks notice of the songs you would like us to learn for your event. If you have specific selections from our song list that you want us to play, or NOT play, be sure to let us know in advance and we'll be happy to accommodate you! We also provide break music of your choice between sets to keep the energy flowing! If you have a song you'd like us to add to our ever-expanding song list, send us an email. HIPNOTiC is the perfect event and Wedding reception band! From black tie formal to hawaiian shirt casual, we can provide both elegance and fun to ensure everyone has a great time. You won't have to worry about the entertainment, or how to plan the flow of the reception. We will sit down with you and go over every detail and help with suggestions when you ask for them. When you hire HIPNOTiC, we work directly with you to make sure everything is exactly how you want it. Let HIPNOTiC provide the music for your ceremony, too! No - we don't mean have the band perform in the chapel! Some of our vocalists are classically trained and can perform with our concert organist or pianist. They cover a wide repetoire of music traditionally performed for wedding ceremonies, including beautiful renditions of songs such as Ave Maria, On Eagles Wings, Aleluiahs, and many others. Although HIPNOTiC performs mostly private events, we can arrange to have you attend one of our performances so you can see and hear the band you are getting for your event! We do perform some special public shows as well, so be sure to ask!
